Elves

The Elves room is a spacious room with lots of physical space and areas to explore. The room caters for children aged 2 years upwards. Staff observe and assess the children in their play and then plan for each child’s next steps accordingly. There is an undercover area for the children outside to explore sand, water and sensory activities. The garden area provides space to run around, play on bikes and enjoy large gross motor play as well as activities set out by the children. There is lots of sensory play during the day.

There are an excellent range of toys and equipment for the children to enjoy and explore. This helps to make learning fun and successful for all. Once children are ready to move to the Pre-School we ensure transition is smooth. Settling sessions are arranged and parents can have visits before the children move over, making sure that this transition is smooth and the children are happy and secure.
