Duck Pond

The Duck pond room offers care to children from 3 months, up to the age of 2.

This room focuses on the prime areas of learning which include:

Personal, social and emotional development.

Physical development and Communication and language skills.

However, all areas of the EYFS are explored during our day to day activities.

We are lucky to have access to the River Bourne community farm and use these facilities whenever possible. In the duck pond we have a small Astroturf garden to explore and carry out activities. We also benefit from an all weather sheltered decking area to enjoy rain or shine.

The duck pond offers a calm sleep room area, alongside an enjoyable and fun learning environment throughout the day.

We try to stick to your own routines that you carry out at home, so please tell us as much as possible to ensure your little one settles well and you are happy.
